The Panxis letter

One letter a month, sent on the first Tuesday. The desk’s selection: what was worth reading, the courses we spotted, the gear that earns its price. Nothing else.

What you get

  • The three or four pieces of the month that were worth your time, each with the reason in one line.
  • One course from the directory, chosen for what it teaches rather than for its reputation.
  • the short season and how to use it, courses open to visitors, and gear priced in Canadian dollars.
  • Any correction we had to make. That is the part we will not quietly drop.

What you do not get

No disguised advertising, no daily message, no address ever sold. Anything a brand has paid for carries its label at the top of the page, in the letter as on the site.

Your address

Signing up is confirmed by email: until you click, nothing is stored. The letter comes from lovegolf@panxis.com, and every issue carries an unsubscribe link that works immediately. We do not ask for your name or your country, and the address is used for nothing else. The detail is in our privacy policy.

Thick rough in the fall: getting out in one swing

September bluegrass rough holds water and holds the clubhead. A fifteen handicap scores the same from 120 yards in it as from 150 in the fairway.
